Another type of design is the Hidden Countertop Support. There are three types of this design and one of them is the Carrier Countertop Brace. It is hidden from sight while the cross bar gives enough support to the countertop. This support needs a knee wall or cabinet. Its main advantage is that it can support more weight as compared to the standard designs. The costs range from .46 for the smallest 6" to 7.75 for the biggest 20".
